  • My 2008 chevy impala was brought in because my engine light was on, so i assumed i needed a tune-up but was told too have a diagnostic test done 2 find the problem, turns out it was gas cap so the necessary steps were taken and the engine light went off.   • I brought my vehicle in because I have always had it serviced at Superior and felt confident on the service that I have received previously. I had been hearing my front brakes and sent in to make an appointment online. Upon arrival, I was referred to Jim, even though the online appointment was with someone else. Jim had my brakes assessed and informed me that the front brakes needed repair and the rear brakes needed adjustment. I told him that I had asked for the $99.00 per axle special and the work would begin. I was then told that I had a leak (?) in the front axle. I have never seen any fluid spots on my driveway nor in my parking spot but like I said, I was confident in the service that I had previously received from Superior. The part for the front axle had to be picked up and I was taken home as a courtesy. I was also informed that there was a seal in the rear that needed repair. At this point, the tiny hairs on the back of my head are uneasy. The part to repair the axle had to be ordered from Carolina so my vehicle sit overnight. The part for the rear seal was a little out of my budget and had to wait. My original appointment was for 7:30 am and I got my car back at 3:30 pm the next day. I know that I cannot expect my vehicle to be in good repair all the time but this was not one of my better visits. I still have some confidence in Superior and their techs but it just seemed like the car needed more repairs than I thought. That is my story. Read More >>

  • I brought my 2010 Chevrolet Traverse in for a recall on the water pump. I was helped time I pulled in and I was finished in about 15 to 20 minutes. It was free and that's it.   • I brought my 2007 Saturn ION in for a problem with the anti-lock brake light coming on. I must say I was very disappointed with the service representative. He did not communicate with me all day. I brought my car in at 7:50am and did not get a call back by 11:00am. I finally called him at 11:15am and was told what the problem was. He said the part was not in and that he would call me back at 1:00pm. After about 1:30pm I had not received a call, so I called him back and was told he was out to lunch. I called again at 2:00pm and again at 2:20pm and again he was out to lunch and had not communicated with me. I was feeling very anxious because I had not made arrangements for transportation from work and did not know what the status of my car was at 2:20pm. I finally decided to speak with the Service manager and was very pleased with the quick response and resolution to my problem. He was very professional and apologetic with my plight. I got off work at 3:30pm and had to wait at the building until 4:30pm when the driver came to get me. I appreciate Mr. Trey Padget, the service manager and all he did to help me get my vehicle serviced that day. It was frustrating not knowing what was going on with my vehicle for 6 and 1/2 hours.
